I am looking forward to another fun year of papercrafting and sharing my experiences of Close to My Heart with you through my blog. My resolution is to keep my blog updated weekly, I’m hoping to make it a routine instead of a resolution. Life has become a little busier with the addition of a 2 year old granddaughter that comes two days a week, but I am still going to make time to craft.
As the new year begins I decided that 2012 is the year I am going to make “a year in the life of” calendar. Several years ago there was a fantastic list of the Top 10 pictures to take monthly in Creating Keepsakes Magazine. I will post each month’s list during the first week of the month along with a date for us to meet and put your scrapbook pages together. If you are unable to make the crop you can take a picture of the layout that you have created and post it as a reply to my blog. This will hopefully give us all inspiration to take a little time for us!
So without further delay…the pictures to take in January are:
- Indoor Play
- People Sledding
- Stacks of Sweaters
- Firsts of the New Year
- First Family Dinner
- First New Snow
- First New Outfit
- First Book You Read
- Icicles Along the Roof
- Kids Bundled Up to Go Outside
- A Couple Snuggling By a Glowing Fire
- Bowls of Soup or Cups of Hot Chocolate
- Family Members Taking Down Holiday Decorations
We will assemble our scrapbook pages on Friday, January 27th…please let me know if you plan to attend.
