Be Jolly – Stampganza

Stampganza is like Christmas in July, right?  Buy two stamp sets get the third for free…it’s almost like Santa is letting you pick what you put under your tree.

Don’t miss getting the Be Jolly stamp set that was brought out of retirement just for Stampganza this month.  It’s a terrific set of 4 Christmas/Winter themed sentiments to add to either the inside or outside of your cards.

Here I’ve paired it with some Glacier B&T from the Fundamentals line and adorned it with a little silver shimmer trim.  One Christmas card saved for the stash!

Thanks for stopping by…leave me a comment with the stamps you’ve found for Stampganza.

I decided to bring you a little Christmas in July, since that’s exactly how I feel after coming home from the Close to My Heart Convention in Salt Lake City. Now if the Fed Ex guy would just hurry with my convention bundles it would be like Christmas!

The Storybook Alphabet, July’s Stamp of the Month, is perfect for just about anything you want to do with it from titles on scrapbook layouts to a name tag or in this case spreading a little JOY!  Make sure you get your’s ordered before month’s end, it’s just $5 US with a qualifying purchase.  July is also Stampganza so when you purchase two stamp sets the third is free – see Christmas in July!

The Fundamental papers are one of my favorites from the Annual Inspirations and I’m excited that they’ll be sticking around with a bit of a make-over in the new AI debuting August 1st.

Thanks for stopping by…leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite Alphabet set is from the current catalog.  Now it’s time to hop over to Joyce’s Blog I know you’re gonna love what you see there.

Joyful Stars Blog Hop – 12th Snowman

joyful-stars-blog-hop-badgeWelcome to the Joyful Stars Blog Hop for December.  If you’ve arrived here from Debi’s Blog – That Might Look Good on a Card you’re on the right path.

You might find this as a surprise, but I’m a football fan!  To be specific a Seattle Seahawks football fan, so I wanted to share the 12th man snowman that I’m using for my Christmas card this year.

The B&T paper that I used is from the City Sidewalks Paper Packet – it reminds me of a bunch of little LED lights.  I then added Sapphire and Willow papers to layer behind the Snowman.  That little snowman was LOTS of fun to stamp and no fussy cutting since the Cozy Christmas has a matching thin cuts set.

If you’d like to purchase any of the Close to My Heart items I’ve featured I’d be happy to help (you can click here to go to my business page) or you can contact your own Close to My Heart Consultant.

I’ll be posting some upcoming classes in the next few weeks so make sure you follow my blog or like me on Facebook (Papercrafting Princess) to keep up to date with me.

Take a minute to leave me a comment on my card and then “hop” over to Betty’s Blog I know you’re going to love what she has for you to see.

Oh Deer! – Color Dare #223

Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare.  This week we are featuring  the colors of the Oh Deer! paper packet.

I combined the sketch from Mojo Monday #477 with the Oh Deer Papers, Oh Deer Complements and a little Sea Glass Glitter Paper for this elegant card.  I think the Complement packs are somewhat overlooked for card making, but here I added one of the stickers (the jingle bell strip) and one of the Kraft dies (the stag).  My card was husband tested and approved 🙂

OK, now it’s YOUR turn!  The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage.  Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!

While at the homepage – check out what the other design team members have created and leave them a little love (comments make our day)!

Do you use the complements available with the paper packets?  Leave me a comment and let me know.  Thanks for stopping by I’d love to see your artwork in the Color Dare.

Warmest Wishes – Color Dare #219

Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare.  This week we are featuring  the colors: Black, Cranberry, Lagoon, Peacock, Willow and White Daisy

Although I wasn’t a big fan of the City Sidewalks papers when I first saw them in the catalog after flipping them around I’m finding they have beautiful patterns and work quite nicely.

I combined two stamp sets for this card…Wreath and Season of Magic along with a poinsettia that I cut using the Flower Market Cricut Cartridge.

A Jar of Cheer

I remember rows of  Mason Jars in my grandma’s pantry when I was a child…now they are probably used more for decoration than for preserving fruit.  I was excited to find a “jar” as one of the containers on our new Flower Market Cricut Cartridge.

This fun little 4.5 X 4.5 card is made with Kraft Cardstock and the band is from the City Sidewalks paper packet.  The White panel has been embossed with the Snowflakes Embossing folder.  All the elements from the jar were cut from the Cricut Flower Market Collection.  I love the two toned holly leaves.  I’ve used them on a couple of cards – you’ll see another one soon!

Thank you for stopping by…you can always find all the supplies that I used to make my card by visiting my webpage at www.papercraftingprincess.ctmh.com.  So that you don’t miss any of my other upcoming City Sidewalks artwork make sure you click on the follow me button on the sidebar of my blog.

A Merry Christmas – Color Dare #218

Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare.  This week we are featuring  the colors: New England Ivy, Ruby, Whisper and White Daisy.

My head is swimming with Christmas card ideas so this challenge couldn’t have come at a better time!

If I’m short on time the first place I start is by pulling one of my card sketch books from my shelf,  Wishes with it’s 100 card patterns just happens to be my favorite.  You’ll find this 8 X 3.5 card between it’s pages.  I don’t always follow the sketch exactly, but it’s a good jumping off point.  I embossed the white base with the Snowflake embossing folder (watch for it to come back in stock – it’s temporarily unavailable) and the Woodland Wishes stamp set.  The pattern papers are both from the  Enchantment Fundamentals.  I’m really finding the new Fundamentals line and their multiple patterns per package a versatile addition to my paper collection.

OK, now it’s YOUR turn!  The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage.  Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!  While at the homepage – check out what the other design team members have created and leave them a little love (comments make our day)!

If you need to purchase any of the supplies I used you can contact your Close to My Heart consultant or click on the items listed above and it will take you to a link to my business page.  During the month of November I will be donating the commission from my sales to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
