It’s the Last Chance

Today is your last chance to get the amazing Share the Joy Special.

Share the Joy features two exclusive My Acrylix stamp sets and the exclusive Share the Joy Thin Cuts Bundle. These items can be purchased separately at full price. The Share the Joy Stamp Set Bundle includes both stamp sets and is available at a 20% discount. You can even save 30% when you purchase both stamp sets and the Thin Cuts metal dies together in the Share the Joy Bundle.

I have loved playing with this bundle. You certainly don’t have to fill in all the blank holes with stamping but who wouldn’t want to play with all those cute little stamps. I included colors found in the sweet girl packet along with some Gold Foil and Sugarplum Glitter Paper.

Order your Share the Joy bundle by visiting my webpage before midnight at http://www.papercraftingprincess.ctmh.com

Share the Joy – It’s Fun!

I finally found some time in my crazy schedule to play with the Share the Joy Stamps & Thin Cuts. I knew this special was made for me for several reasons – 1) I love little stamps and there are two stamp sets full of cute little designs for birthday and everyday. 2) Thin Cuts with holes to fill with those tiny little stamps – an easy peasy way to add some flair to your cards. 3) The price $39.95 US for the entire bundle.

You can see the versatility of the stamps and thin cuts in the cards above. In the first card, I cut the thin cut shape down to fit a 4.25 X 3 card picked a color combo from the Love of Color and faster than a firecracker booms my card was done.

The inch worm card was inspired from a card on Pinterest. I used the background stamps from the birthday set to tone on tone the circles for some texture then fussy cut the party hat, used black dots for the eyes and drew on a smile. Cute little birthday card ready to go in the mail!

My third card used the traditional use of the thin cut and stamps – I left a few of the holes blank for interest.

I’ve got more ideas bouncy around in my head and I’ll be back to share those – hopefully before the week is over. The Share the Joy special is only available until July 31st so make sure you get yours ordered before the supplies run out. You can find the special here on my webpage.

Heart Happy Cards

I spent the morning in the Craft Coop creating some Valentines from the Heart Happy Workshop. This kit is amazing…you can make one 12X12 layout, two 12X12 single pages, ten cards and five tags and still have paper left over to do your own thing with.  There is also an option to do a Heart Happy Everyday Life Album.

Heart Happy Paper Packet (CC2193)

The first thing I noticed about this paper is that it is not all pink or red…it’s an amazing combination of both along with Sapphire and Mint.  The papers are also not Valentine specific…the stripes and geometric designs are perfect for everyday.  To be honest with you, I’ve got a second packet on it’s way to me because I’m in LOVE!

A Piece of My Heart (CC2191)

The stamp set is just as cute too!  How fun to put a diagram of your heart on a card…puppies, tacos, icecream, YOU.  Yes please!  Again…perfect for an anniversary, a cheery hello or to send someone a pick me up – not just Valentines here either!

These cards came straight from the workshop and were so much fun to make.  I hope you’ll consider adding this Workshop & Stamp set to your shopping cart…even if you don’t use them this year you can get a jump start on Valentine’s Day next year!

Hope – Atlantic Hearts #286

When I saw this weeks Atlantic Hearts Sketch I knew exactly what I was going to do.  I love it when an idea just pops into my head and I can run with it.

As I mentioned in my previous post the Ribbon Warrior campaign is hitting me close to home and I’m a firm believer that support from friends & family makes a huge difference.

I chose a color palette from the Love of Color – Mint, Linen and Ballerina.  The mint background was embossed with the rose embossing folder and a stitched circle was added in Linen – I then stamped the ribbon and cut with the matching thin cut – I made a banner and stamped Hope as my sentiment.  I finished the card with some sparkles.

I have a dear friend in breast cancer treatment so this card is on it’s way to hopefully cheer her along her journey.

Be A Ribbon Warrior

1810-cc-fb-cover-ribbon-warrior

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month – this pink promotion has a special meaning in my life, but being in October makes it doubly special to me.

My mom had breast cancer, not once, not twice but three times.  She had a masectomy after her second diagnoses and had been years cancer free before it snuck up and snatched her from our life on October 4, 2012.  Cancer does that…just BOOM and someone you love is gone!  She was such a brave fighter!

I was pretty excited when Close to My Heart brought back the retired Ribbon Warrior stamp set and thin-cuts for the October special.  The bundle is offered at a 20% discount and I want you to know it can be used for way more than just pink ribbons.

Ribbon Warrior Stamp + Thin Cuts Bundle (CC101817)

I always schedule my mammogram in the month of October – as a way to honor my mom.  I certainly don’t like it, but while changing in the dressing room I always think my mom would be so proud of me.

As a special thank you, when you purchase the Ribbon Warrior Bundle from my website I will gift you this exclusive Your Kind Heart Stamp Set.  I will also donate all of my commission from the sale of this set to the American Cancer Society.

Let’s turn the world pink together!!!

You’ve Got Class

I’m popping in today with a reminder of Double Trouble’s Challenge using a School Days Theme while teaming up with the sketch provided by Try Stamping on Tuesday, if you include a bookmark on your card you get extra points with Twisted Sister and will stay out of detention!

Here’s the Sketch we had to use:

I borrowed both the You’ve Got Class and School Kids stamp sets from my friend Debi…I love both of these stamp sets!  They are available for just a few more days as the You’ve Got Class special ends at the end of September.  You can find all the details here.

I rotated the sketch (nothing says you can’t do that) and stamped a strip of Willow with the ABC stamp and the Lemon was stamped with the ruler.  Everything was built on a base of cranberry (retired) which I stamped my “Back to School” sentiment.  The little girl was stamped and colored with Copic Markers, die cut and I added a mini-clothes pin and attached it to the string…she also is my bookmark!

I hope you’ll give both of these fun challenges a spin…I’d love to see what you come up with.

Tic – Tac – Click – Color Dare #308

It’s my favorite time of the month – Tic-Tac- Color My Heart Color Dare.  This week you pick the colors from our Tic Tac Toe Board for the win!  No automatic alt text available.

I chose the middle vertical column of Heather, Eggplant & Bashful and used the argyle stamp set from the Magical special to create a tone on tone background paper.  The camera from the stamp of the month was fussy cut and I added Bashful Glitter Paper to make a sparkly camera.

OK, now it’s YOUR turn!  The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage.  Each color dare is open for two weeks so I hope you can find the time to come and join us!

While at the homepage – check out what the other design team members have created and leave them a little love (comments make our day)!

Better Late than Never – Color Dare #303

Happy Saturday afternoon!

Although I was supposed to post a card for the Color My Heart Color Dare yesterday – real life got in the way, but since it’s Tic Tac Toe week – which just happens to be my favorite week on the Color Dare I decided it was better to participate and show up late for the game than not play at all.

Tic Tac Toe is simple…you pick the row of colors that you want to create with – up, down, across, diagonal – you may also choose to create with all the colors on the board.

The Color Dare also has some new guidelines regarding neutrals:  White, Cream, Black, Gray, Kraft and Brown(s) are free to use; however if they are included in the challenge graphic they MUST be used in your creation.

I chose to create with the diagonal of Glacier, Bashful & Mink.  I recently purchased all of the Solo Letter & Numbers – they are in a special bundle during Stampaganza, so although I have a few duplicates, I now have a complete set!  Hurry if you’d like to add them to your stamp collection because the special ends and they retire on July 31.

We have a cuddly, cozy, cute granddaughter who’s name starts with a “C”!  We visited her last weekend and she was CRAWLING so I wanted to send a card CELEBRATING this new victory!

Each of the Color Dares are open for two whole weeks so I hope you’ll take a minute to come play along!  The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage.

I hope you’ll take a minute to leave a comment on which color combination is your favorite from the Tic Tac Toe Board.  I’ll be drawing a name at the end of the challenge and create a card just for you!

Thanks for stopping by…I appreciate you taking some time out of your day to share with me.

Solo Sale

I’m sure you’ve heard the news that July is Stampaganza at Close to My Heart…buy two stamp sets get the third for free and that the SOLO Alphabet & Numbers stamp sets have been brought out of retirement for this special sale.

Solos Alphabet Bundle (CC7181)        Numbers Solos Bundles (CC7182)

These stamps have long been a favorite and I’ve kicked myself time and time again that I didn’t buy the entire set when it was available.  You can be sure I’m not going to let that opportunity pass me by this time.  Each letter has a large bold and small sized lower case along with coordinating words that start with that letter and some fun shapes to play with too.  Each number features both a large bold and small sized number along with the number in word form and words and images to match.

I gave some new life to the Solo T today pairing it with the soft colors from Central park.  Don’t you just love that pop of Willow combined with the soft colors of Bashful & Glacier?  This is one of my favorite patterns from Make It From Your Heart Volume 4, but I added a stitched circle & a banner to dress it up.  A few sparkles adorn the letter to finish off the card.

The Solo stamps are perfect for both card making and scrapbooking – how cute would a baby album featuring month by month pictures be or even a big bold letter with someone’s name next to their picture.

Both the Solos Alphabet and Solo Numbers are available in a money saving bundle of 40% OFF the retail price, but they are only available through the month of July so make sure to get yours ordered today from my web-page http://www.papercraftingprincess.ctmh.com
