I have several anniversary cards that I need to prepare for my stash and I thought this bold LOVE stamp was the perfect choice to reach for. I embossed it in Princess Gold Embossing Powder and then mounted it on a piece of Gold Glitter Paper. The B&T papers are from the exclusive Live Beautifully paper packet which is only available during the month of May.
Now “Hop” on over to Gina Brandstetter’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Happy Friday…I’ve been MIA from the Color My Heart Color Dare Blog for a few weeks, but I’m back with some bright cheery colors. This week we are featuring the colors Lemon, Raspberry, Willow and White Daisy.
I embossed each of my cardstock panels and then layered a strip of white daisy stamped in Lemon. I love the bright yellow, but it can be hard to see if you don’t use a bold stamp. My hibiscus is made with the Flower Market cartridge and cut at 1.75.
OK, now it’s YOUR turn! The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage. Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!
While at the homepage – check out what the other design team members have created and leave them a little love (comments make our day)!
I love this sweet baby elephant…I’ve used it for several cards since the Flower Market cartridge was released last year, but this by far is my favorite! I think it might be because it’s all BLUE!!!
I reached for my Whimsy Fundamentals and grabbed the Glacier and Crystal Blue papers and ribbon to put together this layered collage card from the Wishes How To Book. I like all the patterns giving the card lots of texture.
The Fundamentals papers are so versatile without a specific theme they are a great addition to your card making supplies and come in our Whimsy, Adventure & Enchantment color palettes.
Thanks for stopping by…I hope you’ll take a minute and leave me a comment about your favorite Fundamentals collection.
During the month of April the adorable and time saving Cut Above layout kits are on sale at 50% off. There are two kits to choose from Forever & Always and Little One.
I have a sweet friend having her first baby boy in a couple of weeks and I thought the Little One Kit would be the perfect addition to her baby gift and since I wanted to have first hand knowledge of how quick and easy they are to put together I set out for a little crafting fun on Saturday afternoon.
Each kit comes with:
- Two 12″ × 12″ printed base pages
- Die-cut paper pieces
- Title and embellishment stickers
- 12 coordinating pocket cards
- Two 12″ × 12″ Memory Protectors™
- Two pocket-style Memory Protectors™
From start to finish it took me 32 minutes to put assemble the two-page layout and insert the pocket cards in the memory protectors, that included opening the zip lock bag, reading the instructions and punching out all the Die Cut Papers.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the stickers and die cuts and the cute factor is unbeatable. I think I’ll pick up a few more while they are on sale so I have some cute gifts on hand.
Thanks for stopping by…I’ll see you soon.
I love sending Easter cards and this year with a little help from my Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge my cards are simple yet whimsical.
I used Pansy & Canary for my card bases and a scrap of the Kaleidoscope papers from my scrap bin. All the little colors have always reminded me of jelly beans and it’s just such happy colors.
I decided to link up with the Heart to Heart Challenge – Whims-ical, because afterall I’ve never really seen any bunny hopping around the yard wearing a jelly bean fur coat and hiding eggs.
Thanks for stopping by and spending some time with me today, I’d love it if you’d take a minute and leave me a comment.
