It’s Friday…time for another Color Dare!

This week the Color My Heart Color Dare Design Team is creating with the colors:  Canary, Sapphire & Silver.

You might feel a theme happening with my Color Dare Challenges this month.  I really love the Festive Birthday stamp set and I can NEVER have enough birthday cards.  It’s been fun challenging myself to use the same stamp set but in totally different ways.

It’s a twin birthday!

I can’t decide if their fraternal or identical because all the papers in these two cards are identical they are just flipped over to show the other side.

I love everything about these cards especially since that cute cupcake has matching thin cuts.

Joyful Stars Blog Hop – Sweet Birthday

My card this month features the fun papers of the Sugar Rush paper packet with a few twists and the Sweet Birthday stamp set and thin cuts.  See that hatch style print B&T under the cupcake – it’s actually a Picture My Life Card from the Sugar Rush papers.  The cupcake is also cut from a PML card – you can’t see it really well in the photo but it’s an ombre pink near the edge of the frosting and I then colored in the wrapper with my Shin Han Touch Twin marker.  The hat and candle were stamped and then cut using the thin cuts.

I love our thin cuts – fussy cutting is not in my vocabulary – I will avoid it at all expense either using my Cricut cartridges, thin cuts or just not cutting something out.
