Joyful Stars Blog Hop – No Bunny

joyful-stars-blog-hop-badgeWelcome to the Joyful Stars February Blog Hop.  If you’ve come here from Nickie’s blog you are on the right path, but if you’re starting here that’s fine, too.  We’re a circular hop so keep clicking on the links at the end of each post and eventually you’ll end up right where you started.

This month I’m featuring a card using the February Stamp of the Month – Easter Bunny.  This set includes a bunny family, a basket and some adorable sentiments all for just $5 US with a qualifying purchase.

My card was inspired by one from my friend Debi – we exchange Stamp of the Month cards and I loved the one she made me so once again I copied selectively (mostly the dots paper from the Dreamin’ Big paper packet).

I decided that I would do a swing card cut from the Cricut Artistry cartridge – there’s a selection of swing cards and using the Cricut makes it so easy!  I have a list of the coordinating shapes so layered up a few papers and as Mumfred the Magician from Sesame Street would say “a la peanut butter sandwich” I had a cute card with wow factor.

The fun thing about the swing card is when you open it the image changes – in this case to the sentiment.

If you’d like to purchase any of the Close to My Heart product I have used, please feel free to visit my webpage by clicking here or contact your own Close to My Heart consultant.

I’d love to hear where you get your inspiration.  Leave me a comment before you hop on over to Michelle’s blog where I’m sure you’ll find some great art.

Hello Lovely Bunny

The Hello Lovely papers paired nicely with the February Stamp of the Month to make this quick card.  It’s a perfect card for Easter or a baby card as I just left the sentiment off to decide later.

You can easily color your bunny as you’ll see in other posts this month.  The Easter Bunny stamp set is only available during the month of February and is just $5 with a qualifying purchase, don’t forget to order yours!

Thanks for stopping by!
