Last Minute Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends!  I am so thankful that I have so many people that I can call friends.  I have one more Thanksgiving card to share, but you’ll see it tomorrow!

The card above is simply using my all time favorite M sized stamp.  The script sentiment is so elegant.  I stamped it in Peacock Ink and layered on a piece of Sea Glass Glitter Paper.  Papers from the Swan Lake paper packet layered on a piece of of Peacock cardstock makes this card simple, but stunning!

My second card features none other than Forest Friends! I wonder if they are eating dessert first?  The banner is cut using the Flower Market cartridge and popped up with some 3D foam tape.

I hope you have a terrific day filled with family and friends and PIE 🙂  Thank you for continuing to follow my blog and leave comments when you see something you like, it really does make my day!

Acorn Z

Welcome back…are you all ready for your Thanksgiving?  I’m baking pies and cornbread (for my hubby’s homemade stuffing) but thought I’d share a fun card.

The directions describe this card as a “Z” fold and it fits that description, but it’s got a little twist.  There is an inside panel which when the card is opened slips under the acorn on the front.

I don’t usually make Thanksgiving cards, but this little stamp set really motivated me this year.  If you have a minute to leave me a comment I’d love to know what you think.  Thanks for stopping by!

One of my favorite things about our papers is that they are double-sided!  What that means is that you get twice as many options for your card-making and scrapbooking needs.

These cards were made using the Swan Lake papers – the exact same papers as a matter of fact just reversed.  I ended up making 4 cards (but only thought to take pictures of two) that were all completely different combinations of the same card.  Since these were going in the mail I used a little bit of Sea Glass Glitter Paper for my bling.

I used the cute Forest Feast stamp set it is one of my favorite from the Seasonal Inspirations.  My little pilgrim is colored with watercolor pencils and blended with our blender pen.
