Joyful Stars – Just the Basics

I have a new love in my life…the Basics Fundamentals Creative Collection.  I have always been a “color girl” and have strayed away from the Basics and Whimsy color families – oh I’ve used them…just in small doses, however with the release of a revamped Basics Palette last August my shift has changed.  The warm browns and grays are a magnificent match to the Color of the Year Bashful.

My card design comes directly from our Make It From Your Heart Idea book and instead of stamping I added a die cut Happy Birthday, although retired you can still find it in the Going Soon section of my website, of Bashful Glitter Paper.  A wrap of Whisper Thick Twine and Bashful Pearls finished things off.
