Share A Smile –  With the purchase of every Punny Pals stamp set, Close To My Heart donates $7 USD of the proceeds to Operation Smile™, an organization that provides surgeries to repair cleft lips and palates for children around the world. To bring these stamp images to life, we’ve made a coordinating set of Thin Cuts dies and an exclusive
card kit! The card kit includes the dies, card bases, envelopes, paper, and step-by-step instructions for creating 32 cards, and it is available at a discounted price! Create these delightful cards and use them to share smiles all around!

Round Up Matching – With every order you have the opportunity to “round up” and donate to Operation Smile, but the month of October is Special because Close to My Heart will match those Round Up Donations up to 10,000.  I am really hoping that ALL of my customers will choose to participate in the Round Up and help me increase my Operation Smile Donation thermometer.  If you have any questions on how you can help feel free to leave a comment on my blog or e-mail me.  I am around 1/4 of the way to my annual goal of funding at least one smile.

September’s Stamp of the Month

September’s stamp of the month is a versatile set that will carry your gratitude throughout the fall.  This special D sized stamp set is only available during the month of September and is just $5 with a qualifying purchase.

 Stamps

My card features a base of the new Color of the Year Bashful which looks so striking against the Charcoal dot of the Basic Fundamentals.  I then embossed the thanks and feathers on Eggplant with silver embossing powder.  If you know me you know that fussy cutting is not my thing, but I will admit, the feathers were not too bad to cut out.  Although it looks like the twine is holding them together it is actually just attached with a mini glue dot.

I hope you’ll consider adding the September Stamp of the Month to your shopping cart this month, you’ll find it perfect for everything from cards, scrapbook pages and maybe you’ll even consider a gratitude book.

Take a minute and leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my card.

Don’t Miss the School Year

I haven’t had a whole lot of time to share this month so I sat down at my desk today and stamped my heart away.  Actually I stamped a bunch of pencils.  I’m sure you can’t notice on my card, but nothing was measured just eye-balled and random stamped it helps that our clear acrylic blocks and clear stamps will let you line things up.

I can’t believe how fast August has rushed by and there are just a few days left to pick up the stamp of the month School Year.

Stamps

This set of 9 is good for the first day, the last day and all the between days of school.  There’s also stamps that don’t really have a school theme.  If you hurry, you can get it for just $5 with a qualifying order.

Hope you enjoy your last days of summer!

Detention – Three Amigos Challenge

I stopped by the Three Amigo's Blog Hop Challenge where I learned I was a winner last month – I'm honored even though it's just a random draw!  This is a fun blog hop challenge and not too big so you should go check it out.  This month they are featuring the Jack papers you can find the link here.

I was playing around with the August Stamp of the Month Back to School and the Jack papers and cute bear stamp were on my desk (actually there was a lot of stuff on my desk – so much that I barely had room to stamp) and thought I should make a teacher bear…then I thought I should give me stamping buddies detention!  It's all downhill from there.  I had to figure out how to make my Cricut do the printing – a challenge on it's own.

I'll be back tomorrow with more new things so make sure you get subscribed by clicking on the link on the side of my blog.

Thanks for stopping by…I hope I gave you a little chuckle.

I decided to bring you a little Christmas in July, since that’s exactly how I feel after coming home from the Close to My Heart Convention in Salt Lake City. Now if the Fed Ex guy would just hurry with my convention bundles it would be like Christmas!

The Storybook Alphabet, July’s Stamp of the Month, is perfect for just about anything you want to do with it from titles on scrapbook layouts to a name tag or in this case spreading a little JOY!  Make sure you get your’s ordered before month’s end, it’s just $5 US with a qualifying purchase.  July is also Stampganza so when you purchase two stamp sets the third is free – see Christmas in July!

The Fundamental papers are one of my favorites from the Annual Inspirations and I’m excited that they’ll be sticking around with a bit of a make-over in the new AI debuting August 1st.

Thanks for stopping by…leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite Alphabet set is from the current catalog.  Now it’s time to hop over to Joyce’s Blog I know you’re gonna love what you see there.

Hello Foxy – Color Dare #248

Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare.  This week we are featuring  the colors: Desert Sand, Glacier, New England Ivy, Sapphire & White Daisy

img_5862

I warned you that Hello Foxy was my favorite Stamp of the Month from the Seasonal Expressions and I wanted to find a way to use these three little foxes all together.  When I saw this 3X6 card layout I immediately thought of a photo booth.  So I inked up each of the foxes and colored with my Shin Han Markers.  The basket-weave B&T is from the No Worries Paper packet and the ribbon is from the Enchantment Ribbon pack which is on the retiring list so make sure you get some ordered today.

OK, now it’s YOUR turn!  The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage.  Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!

No automatic alt text available.

While at the homepage – check out what the other design team members have created and leave them a little love (comments make our day)!  If you’re excited about the Color Dare and think that you might be interested in joining our DT check out this post here.  It truly has been a super fun experience and I’ve made some terrific friends.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you have a great weekend!
